Here at the Bayer Bee Care Center, we’re particularly fond of bees and other pollinators – so much so that we’ve set out on a mission to distribute seeds across the nation and plant forage in all 50 states by the end of next year!
Naturally, National #PollinatorWeek in June is one of our favorite holidays. Check out some of the ways we celebrated this year below, including how you can continue the festivities all year long:
Lifetime's "Bee the Change"
We told you in June that Feed a Bee would be making its national television debut with Lifetime’s “The Balancing Act: Bee the Change” segment, a morning show helping viewers become part of the solution to common issues facing our world. Well, we’re buzzing with excitement because the feature aired across the country on the first weekday of National Pollinator Week, and it couldn’t have come at a more exciting time for the Bayer Bee Care Program! From opportunities to join in our quest to establish forage across the nation by submitting a forage planting proposal, to our celebration of the Bee Care Center’s 10,000th visitor, to information on how the research we’re conducting can help address major bee health concerns such as the Varroa mite, there’s something for everyone looking to help pollinators.
Did you miss it? No problem – it’s preserved in posterity on The Balacing Act website. Watch here!
