Many of the fruits and vegetables that are part of a healthy diet depend on pollination to bear fruit.
Bees pollinate over 100 agricultural crops in the United States. In fact, many of the fruits and vegetables that are part of a healthy diet depend on pollination to bear fruit.

Some examples of crops that are pollinated by honey bees include blueberries, cranberries, cucumbers, peaches, pumpkins, squash, and watermelon, to name a few.

Bees also provide us with honey, that wonderfully sticky, sweet substance that is great eaten on its own and is used increasingly as an ingredient in many delicious recipes.

These pages are dedicated to featuring some of the many foods that bees help add to our plates.
