National Pollinator Week

National Pollinator Week is held in June each year to celebrate the contributions of bees and other pollinators. Bayer joins in the festivities with bee-related activities.

Pollinator Week Activities:

During National Pollinator Week (June 15-21), Bayer is recognizing the winner of the 2015 Community Leadership Award, celebrating as flowers spring up along North Carolina roadsides, and delivering 52 pounds of wildflower seeds to two local growers that support our Feed a Bee partner – The Produce Box.

In addition, Bayer kicked off National Pollinator Week a little early, with a June 12 visit from American Agri-Women’s 40th anniversary Drive Across America tour. After a stop at the Bayer Bee Care Center, the Agri-Women joined Bee Care staff in planting a pollinator garden at the Cary, NC, Pocket Community Garden.
