engages with a wide array of stakeholders to increase and share knowledge on bee health. The success of this outreach was recognized by CropLife America in 2014 with its Stewardship First
award for fostering collaboration among growers, beekeepers, researchers, media, retailers, consumers, industry associations, commodity groups and other stakeholders and raising awareness of the health challenges impacting honey bees, through the Bee Care mobile tour. Outreach to key stakeholders through the Bee Care Center also has been recognized with a National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) prestigious 1st
place Best of NAMA
award in 2015 for the Center’s first-year opening efforts.
