Learning Resources

Bees pollinate over 100 agricultural crops in the United States. In fact, many of the fruits and vegetables that are part of a healthy diet depend on insect pollination in order to bear fruit. That’s why the Bayer Bee Care program has been working for the care and protection of honey bee health for more than 25 years.

One of the best ways to learn more about these insects who play a vital role to agriculture, gardens and our food supply is to tour the Bayer Bee Care Center in Research Triangle Park, N.C. The Center is an excellent place for students, community groups and individuals to learn more about the unique role bees play in many ecosystems around the world.
